What we collect

If you join our mailing list:
  • your email address
If you create an account:
  • contact name, address, email, phone number
  • last 4 digits of your bank card IF you choose to ‘save’ your card when paying via Stripe
If you make an order:
  • name and contact information including email address
  • products ordered and the price paid
  • delivery address
  • your IP address
  • browser user agent (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, etc used)
  • if you use PayPal to pay then your PayPal email address is stored (we do not receive any bank details and their privacy policy is https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full)
  • our alternative payment provider are Stripe or MyPay who will create a ‘user ID’ which is stored (we do not receive any bank details and their privacy policies are https://stripe.com/gb/privacy or https://mypay.co.uk/privacy-policy/ )
  • we pass on your email address to Customer Reviews Ltd who will send you one email requesting a review of the product(s) you purchased. Their privacy policy can be found here https://www.cusrev.com/privacy-policy
If you leave a comment or review:
  • When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

What we do with the information we gather

If you have chosen to join our mailing list we may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided. You can unsubscribe from this list whenever you want be either clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ button within the email or contacting us directly.You do not need to create an account to order from this site. If you choose to create an account the information stored (name and address) is to make the ordering process more convenient.The information stored when an order is created is necessary to complete your order. Some of this information is shared with the payment provider you have chosen (PayPal or Stripe) to allow the order to be successfully completed and an independent Customer Review company.We delete the following orders after 90 days:
  • Pending orders
  • Failed orders
  • Cancelled orders
We delete the following after 2 years:
  • Inactive accounts
  • Stripe customer ID if created
If you have left a comment or review:
  • An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
